I’m not sure if I should be scared or impressed

I very badly want this.

All that work and an automatic? Might be a lot of fun but CP

As the ad suggests, the real endgame should be the LS4 swap.

Oi! I missed that.

If structure is nicely done, NP. I’m actually pro-buying somebody else’s project, if you wanted to do that you’d never get that far for $3k, so that’s the place to start.

3k and the work to put the engine where it should be has already been done? NP.

Yeah with a project like this, it seems that even if you love 80% of the choices / execution, the other 20% is full of deal breakers. This thing could be a lot of fun if you have skills and patience to fiddle with it I guess. And swap in a 6 speed.

The 4T65-E was the only transmission on the 3800 s/c iirc
Certainly some have done a manual swap on them for Grand Prixs or whatnot.

I would like it about 10 times more if it didn’t have a heinous paint job

I’m interested. The auto is a bummer and the paint is not good but I mean, goddamn I bet this thing is fun.
